In the afternoon guided tours were given of our recently expanded PDC manufacturing facility in Peterborough. Stops included the chip drop-off area, the screener/re-chipper, our new boiler house and high output belt dryer, and the PDC storage area where over 300 tons are stored for use this fall.
Scott Nichols, President of Tarm USA and Tom Fullerton of Viessmann USA both had displays set up where they spoke with everyone who stopped in.
At 3 pm everyone gathered at the boiler house to hear a few speakers. Sam Cooper-Wall from U.S. Rep. Annie Kuster’s office, Pam Slack from U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s office and Kerry Holmes from U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan’s office all brought congratulatory messages*. Rodney Bartlett, Peterborough Town Manager, Teri Hardwick of D.H. Hardwick Logging of Francestown, NH and Mark Froling, President of Froling Energy also spoke.
