Two adjacent schools—Conant High School and Jaffrey-Rindge Middle School—are now heated with a central PDC boiler system.
The two schools originally had separate oil-fired heating systems. With the new system, a 1.65 million BTU/hour dry wood chip boiler is housed in the high school and two high-efficiency propane-fired condensing boilers reside in the middle school. The boiler rooms are linked via a pipe loop, enabling both schools to be heated from the high school boiler room.
